Incoterms 2000
Classification Incoterms 2000

Incoterms - international rules for the interpretation of trade terms, which define the responsibilities of seller and buyer in the performance of foreign trade transactions and thereby reduce the risk of the parties.

Incoterms created the International Chamber of Commerce in 1936. In 1953, 1967, 1976, 1980, 1990 and 2000, the document had been amended.

Currently Incoterms acts as amended in 2000, which contains more clear and simple interpretation of terms, many of which have been adjusted. Changes in Incoterms 2000 have been made in view of modern trends in international trade.
